Last week, before leaving for Salt Lake City, I was in a seriously foul mood.  I’m not kidding:  I had a thundercloud over my head.  Children and baby animals scattered when they saw me coming. The ambient temperature dropped 10 degrees when I walked into a room.

Needless to say, I was not pleasant to be around.

But my trip to Salt Lake City was like hitting a reset button — and this week, even though I was totally buried under work that was neglected while I was gone, the change of scenery totally changed my mood, and I was able to fit in some quiet times in amongst all the crazy.  And for that?  I’m incredibly grateful.
