BlurbBaby on Bored is an impressively self-aware blog chronicling the everyday life of Stefanie Wilder Taylor. Alternately funny and serious, Wilder Taylor has legions of fans following her, offering praise on her good days and support on the not-so-good ones.

As an author, Wilder Taylor has written humorous memoirs about motherhood, including discussing her usual glass or two of wine to “take the edge off.” But when she realized that the habit was more similar to a drinking problem, she shared her struggles with the blogosphere and found herself rallied by supportive readers. In keeping with her own successes, she also features the stories of other moms on Don’t Get Drunk Friday.

Stefanie's Quotes on Wisdom from Mom Bloggers

I rarely go a day without reading Heather Spohr's blog, The Spohrs Are Multiplying. Also LuLu and Moxley is one of the all-time funniest.
From: Which blogger is your favorite read and why?
If you could spend one day with my husband, you would wish you were married to him, too. But you can't, because he's married to me, for six years, and together for going on twelve, so back off, bitches. Sure, he looks a little like Brad Pitt, is smarter than Bill Gates, and can make me laugh even when I'm crying, and I understand why you want him, but he's all mine.
From: A shout-out for your other half: Why are you lucky to have him?
My relationship with my mother is very complicated, but I will always appreciate that she instilled a love for books and reading in me from the youngest age possible. I credit her with my writing career.
From: Why do you love your mom?
I thank God everyday for inventing the Exersaucer. I got a lot of mileage out of that bad boy with each of my kids, and I would never let someone attempt to raise a baby without it. If you ever plan to take a shower when your babies are between the ages of 4 and 10 months, you're going to need it.
From: What is the one parenting product you couldn't live without?
Elby, age 6: “I love you because you love me. And because you do nice things for me.”
From: Why do you love mom? The bloggers' kids respond
Figure out why what you have to say is different than what every other mom blogger has to say and then focus on that. Basically, you need a hook. And a catchy title is everything!
