Amalah was a blog before it was a mom blog, much like mothers have identities before they are mothers. Wonderfully confessional and often hilarious, we are taken through the life of Amy, her husband, Jason, and their two sons, and look forward to new blog posts like we used to wait for Seventeen’s next issue when we were teens!
A natural storyteller, Amalah is outspoken and relatable, generously offering us glimpses into her personal life, from what it’s like to have a parent with cancer to the heartbreaking story of her special-needs son’s friendship with a neighbor, which inspired a post so good, it was a Blogger Voices of the Year finalist. A past Babble Top 50 Mom Blog, Amalah continues to remind us that we can be mothers without losing ourselves.
