Judy Fowler commented on Feb 19 12 at 11:45 amI’m sorry, I have the same problem, and yes, if I could afford it, I would get something done about the bags under the eyes. It is why I wear glasses. I have always noticed it about you, maybe because I have bags, also. Sorry! Judy F.
Nancy commented on Feb 20 12 at 12:30 pmOh please, no! That you are so intelligent and engaging and not trying to be model-perfect is a sign of your strength and confidence in yourself. It’s inspiring to me (a quite-tired, 40+ working mother of two). Loved you on Charlie Rose and want to hear what you have to say about life, current events & the people in your world – with all the humor you bring. Please don’t change!
Sophie Petratos commented on Feb 22 12 at 12:04 amPlease don’t. What is appealing about you is that you are real. In a sea of plastic Hollywood personalities and faces, that is so refreshing. I am a 40-year old mom, expecting a third. My Greek husband George doesn’t say anything about my dark circles. I have another 2 years of serious sleep deprivation to come. Good luck with everything. Good luck to me, too.
Vicki A. commented on Feb 22 12 at 3:51 pmYou are so cute and funny, but all I see is the bags. I have them too, but I’m 60 and it’s genetic. I’d have it done in a heartbeat if I had the money. Get it done, honey. I love my Daily Shot!
Susan commented on Feb 22 12 at 4:19 pmYou’re bright and funny, why not look your best? The bags under your eyes do make you look tired, go ahead it’s a simple fix. I think you’ll enjoy looking like you did before them.
Fran Dellaporta commented on Feb 22 12 at 5:05 pmALI, i have the same “bags” under my eys. Drives me crazy but no surgery….cannot afford and hubs would kill me so it would not be worth it! Of course, I am 59 years old, over 190lbs, battling Rosacea that is IN MY EYES, and totally grey headed. Clearly, this is not my only issue.
Pam Dennerline commented on Feb 22 12 at 9:04 pmPLEASE do not listen to these holier than thou people when they say they love you just the way you are and do not get your bags removed and on and on…bs! yay for those that have no issues with wanting to look your best!
ali…if YOU do not want to look tired on and off camera and if you do not want to look about 10 years older than you really are and if you want to keep up with that very popular husband of yours…then it’s time to lose the bags! your husband has no qualms about looking his best! (ie.. megaman workout schedule you mentioned on charlie rose) so neither should you.
the truth is ..getting those bulgy fat pads removed is a simple and painless procedure with practically no downtime…do not let them cut the outer skin!… no need for electric needles, knives, or stitches…have the excess fat removed by a doc that knows how to use a laser….easy and painless.. no bleeding as the laser cauterizes as it cuts..no bleeding, no bruising, no downtime to speak of…You are too cute and too young to have such bags when they are sooooo easy to get rid of… and dont let those docs talk you into fillers to help round out the fat you have in those sockets…your bags are too big….filler afterwards if you need it…then laser the skin under the eyes to help tighten and smooth it out..ok i’m done,,,just had to say it!
Jessica Wilson commented on Feb 24 12 at 10:22 amOh Ali, please don’t get plastic surgery. Your qualities make you who you are and make you lovable. If you change them, it wouldn’t be you.
I can’t imagine what it’s like to be in the public eye and have people comment on things that make you self-conscious anyway–that must be its own private circle of hell. It’s bad enough to look in the mirror and perceive flaws in ourselves, let alone have somebody else point them out for us. And those people who are pointing out the flaws? Twenty bucks says they have loads of flaws themselves, and they hide behind the anonymity of the Internet and say cruel things that they would never, NEVER say to one’s face. I’m sad for them.
From what I can tell (since I don’t know you personally), you have created a nice life for yourself– a loving family, a fun personality, a real existence– in the midst of a very fake world. And you have done it all with cellulite, nipple hair, and bags under your eyes. Good for you!
I am genuinely happy for you and your family, and I hope you continue to “keep it real” because that’s why I am such a fan of yours. Being a working mom myself, I don’t get to watch a whole lot of morning tv, but when I do and you are on a segment, it always cheers me up.
Thanks for doing such a great job and showing that a “normal” person can have so much success, privately and professionally. Well done!
Connie Colston commented on Feb 24 12 at 1:23 pmAli,
I have the same bags under my eyes and are the same age as you and have been thinking about having them done for a couple of years now. I think I am going to do it, because it’s only a few thousand dollars and I believe will make me look refreshed. I actually feel tired because when I look at my eyes, they look sad and tired. I am not looking to be 20 again, I just want to look my age but fresh and happy. If it’s something that is on your mind constantly (like it is for me about mine) then getting it fixed is the right thing to do. You shouldn’t feel like if you do it that you are a sell out or a fake. You are making the most of your assets so that you can feel good about yourself and when you feel good, everyone around you feels good. God Bless.
Angie commented on Feb 24 12 at 1:39 pmYou’re naturally beautiful (lucky!) I love your looks and secretly (until now) hope you don’t have surgery. You also cheer me up and lighten my mood when I see you on T.V,, and now on Daily Shot. I think you’re the friend that everyone wishes they had!!
Marlo Lupulio commented on Feb 25 12 at 10:44 pmAli – you are a beautiful woman, but the bags are distracting. I can’t help it. Honestly, I typed in “Ali Wentworth eye bags” in the Yahoo! search box because I thought maybe I was losing my mind and imagining that you looked crazy. It’s completely distracting – I can’t see your mouth move, I can’t hear your voice – all I can see are the bags. And that’s totally unfair, because once I get over my own insecurities and actually see your mouth move and hear your voice, you remind me how (a) completely shallow I can be despite my denials and (b) how incredibly fun and gorgeous and smart you are. But your eyes are betraying you, dearest. It’s not even something that you’ve done ‘wrong’ per se – it’s just the way your hand has been dealt. But you’re far too fun, funny, gorgeous and smart – with TONS to say – to have anyone distracted from your message. Not good enough – hope you have a painless procedure that causes you momentary disruption to your likely packed calendar that allows the rest of us to just frigggin’ FORGET that we ever had this conversation. It may sound harsh coming from a 44-year old overweight mom, but you are in a public spotlight – I do expect a different image from women like you. It may not be fair, but if we were in a marketing meeting together, I’d be thinking the same thing. Since you’re FAB and famous and married to a FAB and famous hubby, go look your best!
Ed commented on Feb 27 12 at 3:57 pmI admit, I noticed it too. I guess it’s that we are so used to people in “show biz” looking perfect under HD. If you were my wife, mom, or sister, I’d say HELL NO. I watch you every day because your smart, witty, funny, and yeah your not bad on the eyes ;)
Madge commented on Feb 27 12 at 4:04 pmWho the BLEEP are these people???!!!! I am shocked and horrified that these people are telling you to have a procedure because it is “distracting” to THEM?! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! UGH! I’m disgusted with these other women!
Keep keepin’ it real, sister!
Ed commented on Feb 27 12 at 4:32 pmI thought about it and decided I should clean-up. I meant Yeah! as in Yes!, not yeah.
Sorry
Golden years commented on Feb 27 12 at 6:21 pmYour son George is in his 40s, I guess, so for mid-60s, ma’am,
I think you look terrific.
Over Seventy commented on Feb 28 12 at 2:47 amTimely Q, Ali! We must have similar genes because I’m “blessed” with bags, like you. When I was your age, I could cover them well with makeup, as you do. Over 70 now, and gravity has taken its toll. Makeup no longer hides ‘em, and it’s distressing to look so much older than I feel. Am consulting plastic surgeons soon to determine if it’s too late to correct gravity.
As to whether you should have plastic surgery — Ali, let your own feelings be your guide. If you feel good right now, let ‘em ride! You can always fix ‘em later, if you change your mind.
@Pam Dennerline — thanks for tips re: the easy way to remove bags!
juanitta commented on Feb 28 12 at 1:59 pmAli- You are exactly my age and I’ve been having the same thoughts as you. However, my problems are big belly, crows feet and puppet mouth. My hub loves me just as I am. I don’t have any suggestion and I’m not sure what I’m going to do. Just wanted to thank you for addressing the topic. I love the Daily Shot and John is so precious. You guys have a good rapport. You are fantastic! ♥
Clare commented on Feb 28 12 at 3:42 pmI hear you, Ali – just in general, I hear you. You are the thinking woman’s best girlfriend. Your humanity is what makes you so entertaining – you are unique for being REAL.
That would sound like a vote for not getting your eyes done, but I think that contemplating the odd nip/tuck is absolutely real too. My husband, who inherited the same thing from his mother, talks about doing it all the time, and I know I’d love him either way – the happier he is, the better, as far as I’m concerned.
Personally, if it were me, I’d be very tempted to go for it. There’s a big difference between having the procedure that @Pam describes and entering a plastic surgery vortex that spits you out looking like you’ve got slugs on your lips.
Either way, we love you for talking about this stuff.
Leigh Anne Medina commented on Feb 28 12 at 9:59 pmWow! These people are harsh! I think its your decision. If it makes u feel better about yourself then you should do it.
A Arsic commented on Feb 29 12 at 1:45 pmYou look great. I think you should change your FB settings so that people can’t write on it anymore. Not worth it.
Nina commented on Mar 01 12 at 8:41 pmWhen in LA – come see me, professionally – all natural, amazing – age-defying rejuvenation vacation for your face! Not kidding http://www.hellogorgeousonline,com

Love your humor!!!
carol commented on Mar 01 12 at 9:09 pmAli,
You are ADORABLE! I think you should go on the’ Doctors Show’ and have a consultation with oh what is his name? The Plastic Surgeon you know who I mean.I wouldn’t want them to cut just remove the” tired eyes look”. Show us women it is not scary and possibly afordable! Let them do it on the program and look at the Ali we love!
You are hysterical by the way!
Joese commented on Mar 02 12 at 4:49 pmIt is winter and you have kids, of course you are tired! Come summertime you will look and feel even more amazing than you do now, so lighten up. You’re trying to cram to much into your days / daze, derrr! Try to get more sleep, darling. You don’t need surgery, you need a nap.
Sharon commented on Mar 04 12 at 8:28 pmIf you are already asking that question, it sounds like you are ready. I have admired you for a long time. You are so funny and play down your intelligence and good heart. One so beautiful and honest should take care. My mother had and I have the same problem. I cannot afford it, so do it so I can see your pretty face. My concern is that there are heart problems or vitamin issues. Paul Howard in Birmingham Alabama is amazing and so sweet, funny too. He played football at Georgia, has a children’s foundation for cleft palate patients and worked with burn victims early on. Just plan, get super healthy and take no chances. This world needs you and George, more than you know. If you smoke, stop. No great surgeon will do plastic surgery unless you have not smoked for six months. It delayed healing for me in my youth and created serious problems. Stay safe and make it back home to your family and us.
Irene commented on Mar 04 12 at 11:40 pmIf I were in your shoes, I would get the surgery. And, then, I would also modify my lifestyle to not push so hard all of the time. Get someone to help with the kids, pay more attention to yourself. You are affluent enough to have these things that most only dream of. Why not, I say?
Linda commented on Mar 05 12 at 11:10 amHaving plastic surgery may take a few years off your face, but your age and life style stay the same. Real beauty comes from life experiences, personal happiness and love, in other words, from inside you. I am 64 and live in FL with a sea of plastic beauty surrounding me. I look great for a grandmother of six because I have a permanent smile on my face – health, happy and loved. Just keep the body in working order, tell your husband and kids you love them every day and your happiness shows through – throw away the 8X magnifying mirror!
Judy commented on Mar 06 12 at 3:56 pmI would say yes to your lower lids to get rid of the bags under your eyes. You must keep up your appearance when you are in the public eye. Also after my daughter got divorced she always said she would love to marry George! She is now happily in a very long relationship, not to worry!!!!!!!
trisha commented on Mar 06 12 at 4:50 pmHi Ali!
I have the same problem. I have strangers look at me and say “oh, you look so tired” (what an ego boost, huh) I planted cucumbers so I could just go outside, pick one, slice and miracles, no bags. NOT!!!!!! I try the gels that guarantee that your eyes will look great. WRONG!!! I do get enough sleep. My mom had her eyes done (she can afford to) and she looks great but until I win the lottery, I have to do my best and try new “remedies” (oh, tried the teaspoons dipped in ice water and applied under my eyes before putting on concealer,NOT!!! Just had puffy RED eyebags!!!)
What to do, what to do??? You have the financial resources and decide that you would like to do it? Do it but do it for yourself, not any of us telling you what to do.
BTW, any doctors in San Diego feel sympathy for me and want to help me out????
Sue commented on Mar 06 12 at 6:41 pmHi Ali,
I am 55 and just has an upper and lower bleph two months ago. I am happy with the results and I don’t have the tired look or bags anymore. I think you would be pleased and you are an attractive woman Why Not?
Jan Campbell commented on Mar 06 12 at 8:02 pm” Your son George” Comment was pathetic. What a B!
Rose commented on Mar 08 12 at 7:42 amHope you never change. What is wrong with wrinkles and gray hair. Women my age who have reconstructed the reconstruction all look alike….You are beautiful but I love how you make me laugh! That does however make those lines in my face a little more dramatic…
Angie commented on Mar 08 12 at 1:40 pmTry something less drastic like a gluten free diet that will reduce inflammation and improve fatigue. I hate that plastic surgery is the norm among the famous women they look hideous.
Cheryl Greening commented on Mar 08 12 at 3:52 pmI have the same bags. I’m 55, have had them since, well, when I went to have my senior pics made in 1974, the photographer told me to come back in a few hours because I’d obviously just woken up. Wrong. I came back in a few hours, he asked if I’d taken a nap. I said ‘ take them anyway!’. I wouldn’t have them removed. You are who you are and if George doesn’t care and you don’t seem to really care, don’t do it. Hemorrhoid cream works if you just swipe a bit on the bags at night ( a tip Marie gave to Debra on a Raymond show) but I already knew it. You’re a hoot. Do Not Do It. God is good and you are very pretty just the way you are.
John Lotzgesell commented on Mar 08 12 at 4:44 pmDo not get plastic surgery. You look fine al natural. I wish air brushing would go away. Real people really are the most interesting. I like your news bits. You are a bright person with intelligent opinions.
Tory Moore commented on Mar 08 12 at 10:30 pmAli,
My mom had bags under her eyes as well as my grandmother. My mother had plastic surgery to remove the bags when she was about 37 or so and the results were wonderful. She never regretted this as people always assumed she was tired. She actually looked and felt great.
Elizabeth Price commented on Mar 08 12 at 10:42 pmPlease go get it done. That is all I see when I look at you. Some people just get that under eye bag, I had it , got it fixed at 40 sooo happy. I don;t look tired all the time . Please do it.
Jennifer Fanton commented on Mar 08 12 at 11:39 pmIf you are doing it for yourself then I say go for it. If you are asking my opinion, do not do it because you are beautiful the way you are. Plus you being natural in your kitchen or home makes me want to watch you more, maybe because I can relate to you more. I love your show, I just came across it while I was waiting for my hair to process. I will be watching you from here on. Best Wishes to you and you are on your way to 20,000,000 fans : >
Alison commented on Mar 08 12 at 11:46 pmNO, don’t do it Ali! We have to resist and love ourselves. Everyone should focus on perfecting what is on the inside not the outside—maybe the would would be a better place.
June Vu commented on Mar 09 12 at 1:16 amI’ve stubble across your blog and your video caught my attention. I’m 30. I’ve inherit the bags under my eyes from my mother and surely enough my daughter will too. Your video made me smile!!! I’m so happy to see a beautiful women express these thoughts out loud. “You know what prevails. I am who I am”. You are absolutely correct!!! We are who we are. I really needed to hear this, thank you!
Robert commented on Mar 09 12 at 1:52 amYou know what babe? You already look hot! I thought the same when I used to watch you on SNL some time ago. But, I know, everyone’s going to send you to their “friend who does work” and you’re gonna get your nose and boobs done and you’re gonna hate yourself when you look in the mirror -Don’t over do it to yourself, please. We love you!
If you’re gonna do it, get the minimal amount of work done- Just enough so that people won’t be bugging you about looking tired. It’s like the people who get tattoos, they get bit by the bug and end up going WAY too far. Best of luck!!
RF commented on Mar 09 12 at 6:10 amYes! Get those bags taken care of. It is a genetic thing, and because you are on camera some visuals can be a distraction from the words that you are saying. It’s not a slam, it’s just an unfortunate truth. You are way too young for the bags so I say do it and look and feel your best.
JP commented on Mar 09 12 at 5:33 pmI think your “look” differentiates you from others who have had surgery. It makes you more interesting and real. Seriously. I’m voting “no” regarding plastic surgery. Don’t follow the LA herd. Individuality and talent (which you obviously already have) are where it’s at IMHO.
shells commented on Mar 12 12 at 7:48 amYes, def get those tired looking bags taken out from under your eyes! Your a pretty woman and it takes away from your looks.
lorie commented on Mar 12 12 at 10:15 amAli, I have always been against plastic surgery but I will admit that every time I see you I do think that you would look so much more refreshed if you got the bags under your eyes taken care of. That is the only surgery I would do. I absolutely love you. You are hilarious and so cute! George is a lucky man.
kl commented on Mar 12 12 at 10:59 amJust put on a little makeup! I think it’s great that you dare to bare!
Marcy commented on Mar 12 12 at 11:03 amAli,
You just totally made my day. I have been looking deep in the mirror lately and notice that time has now taken over my face. If you feel good about you and you are in the public eye then I can feel good about me. I respect the hell out of you right now and makes me like you even more. And I can be proud of my natural face:)
sara commented on Mar 12 12 at 6:56 pmwow! thank you! thank you! thank you! LOVE YOU and your geniune way! BTW I could be your twin and am feeling down about the dark bags under my eyes. cie la vie! Forget plastic surgery it is not for you cause you are so pretty already … Just give it a go , nothing to loose …
Daton sounds like (Dayton) commented on Mar 14 12 at 6:55 amI love how some women take plastic surgery for granted…. Some women like myself that was born with a facial handicap I guess what you would call it would love to look like a normal person….. But yet all other women are worried about bags under their eyes, laugh lines, crows feet and whathave you….. But what about women who were born with something that makes people talk and poke fun of and discrimunate against them? Friends of these women say you look fine the way you are and so do their loved ones. But we know what we know….. I think its shameful that women would go get plastic surgery to fix these unimporant little things like bags under the eyes….. And if your wondering what facial handicap I am speaking of its called Cleft Lip (hairlip)… Hate the word in ( )……………………………… I think we need the surgery more than the ones who just want to look younger. We ( ones with clefts) want to look normal………………..
louboutin42 commented on Mar 14 12 at 7:11 pmhi Ali …first of all , I love you & I love George. I’m a 40 year old fashion designer in NYC. My hubby is in YOUR hubby’s business, where the women are all botoxed up ! I have many things to say on this topic as I am currently researching some RIDICULOUS procedure that will smooth cellulite for 2 weeks, so I can romp around the caribbean in a few weeks…Yes ridiculous! a few thousand for 2 weeks of a nice ass :)
1. I am not sure where in your video you asked people’s opinions yet everyone freakin decided to give it, thats for sure ! wow people were almost brutal in their honesty, hope you are ok …
2. You certainly got a good mix of answers…did it help or confuse you ?
3. You are stunning …You & George are too cute together. Your family is lovely and George would never let you go. NO you do not need to go under the knife.
4. But on the other hand, as a woman ( and secret therapist to all my girlfriends) and I know how “we” are…SINCE you did the video on this topic, the eye bags are clearly bothering you…they bother no one but you…this makes me sad… If it makes you feel less than excellent about yourself, please do it! …
5. On the other hand, if you do it, you have to deal with all the annoying people, who say ‘ oh Ali did it, she’s so vain ‘ …so can you win ??? NO !
6. In summary…getting older sucks, but we’re all in it together…one thing that makes me feel better is secretly being happy that all the 22 year olds in my fashion forward office will also turn 40 some day and have their own dark circles and bags …!
GOOD LUCK ALI , your a doll !

Us “original” girls need to stick together on the boobs (that’s an entirely different video post). Get the eyes done, but don’t do the whole face. You are hilarious and smart. xo, laura and I’m Not a Trophy Wife..yet.
Old too commented on Mar 15 12 at 9:43 amI LOVE YOU! This is the best.
Judy commented on Mar 15 12 at 11:11 amI’ve always said that I would definately get them done, if needed. Even though I do believe in “growing old gracefully”. And though I’m not a fan of the plastic surgery trend in maturing women, this I would do. Expecially being in the public eye. I say go for it! By the way, I think your terriffic, and always look forward to my Daily Shot.

Scarlet O'Hara commented on Mar 15 12 at 5:47 pmYou should do whatever it is that YOU want to do. If you should decide to do it, don’t go to any of the cosmetic surgeons who did Kenny Rogers, Mickey Rourke, Bruce Jenner, or Joan Rivers. ;)
Cyndy commented on Mar 15 12 at 7:59 pmDo it!!! Fix the bags, be conservative about it.
maya commented on Mar 15 12 at 10:43 pmAli, you are beautiful and intelligent, but I have noticed your bags for a long time now and have always thought that if my eyes looked like that, I’d do something about it. I’m only saying this because you asked for input, the choice – obviously – is yours.
Cat commented on Mar 15 12 at 10:52 pm@Golden years … “your son George” ??? Really?? Are you really clueless or just being rude?
Rachel commented on Mar 15 12 at 11:00 pmAli my honest opinion is I don’t think your premature bags around your eyes should redefine you. You have lovely features but I think there’s nothing wrong with correcting the bags under your eyes when it shouldn’t be there at your age. You’re so much better than that because the bags are making a bigger statement of look at me rather than people paying attention to your funny quips. I say do it!!!
Jen Cost commented on Mar 16 12 at 4:36 pmI just don’t get our Perfect-Centric society. So Fake.
I think you are Beautiful and Smart and Funny and I love you because You love you!
When watching this clip, I was starting to grow sad, thinking NO!!! Don’t do it!! But at the end I was like… Whew!, since it seems you were putting a good message out there for all of us non-perfects (everyone!). Me, my sister and mom have dark circles under our eyes, and it’s not held any of us back in life. And it doesn’t make our men love us any less. Love your “flaws”, love yourself.
Besides, I’ve yet to see any good results from plastic surgery. Ichhhhhh!
Ronald Mize commented on Mar 18 12 at 11:54 amNo, vanity is a sin you should not care how you look, jewelry and make up products are also vanity sin products. Remember the ten commandents which are god’s laws not man’s and you can choose to obey or ignore them by your choice. Mortal sins are to be avoided at all costs. Its your choice again how religious you choose to be. Its your soul on the line no one else’s.
Judy commented on Mar 19 12 at 9:29 amAbsolutely yes! You deserve it.
PhylanneM commented on Mar 21 12 at 9:25 pmLove your video blog posts – keep em coming. You crack me up!
Susan McDonough commented on Mar 22 12 at 11:37 amThere is no need for plastic surgery. I have the same problem and my eyeglass frames sit right over the bottom of the “bag” and disguises it very well! Get a pair of cute fashionable glasses and have very slightly tinted glass (which also helps) put in. Or just ignore the comments and stay you beautiful self.
Kathleen Morris commented on Mar 23 12 at 3:25 pmHi Ali, in response to your question about whether you should get your eyes done, I’m going to tell you a story. I have 3 moles on my face, all clear. One where my third eye should be (which led my brothers to call me “unicorn”); one at the tip of my nose; one right next to my nose. Years ago I told my wife I wanted to get them removed. She started by saying it was up to me. She said she had noticed my moles when we met, though they didn’t bother her. Then she said that my face just as it is is the face she fell in love with and has lived with all this time, and that she would feel sad if I changed anything about it. So I left the moles. I say to you, as a huge, huge fan: It is up to you. I noticed that your eyes were different when we met, though they didn’t bother me. By now, your face is the face I have fallen in love with and have lived with all this time, and I would feel sad if you changed anything about it. Having read this, if you’re still not sure what to do, go to the Four Seasons. Kathleen

First, I love watching you. Your humor can make me laugh so hard I… But, your eyes distract me. If I were you I would fix them and leave everything else on your face alone.
kathy alexander commented on Mar 24 12 at 5:14 pmHi Ali,
I would just like to say I’m one of your biggest fans. You are so funny, I loved watching you on the View. Also, I think you look wonderful and you’re so self confident. I have the same problem under my eyes and I feel self conscious at times. I found a couple of really good websites for facial exercises that for me help me feel better about my eye problems.Anyway, thank you for all your funny stories and great humor.

Nancy Kendrick commented on Mar 25 12 at 4:37 pmAli – love, love, love your Daily Shot and think you are terrific – JUST THE WAY YOU ARE (yeah, I know, it’s the equivalent of shouting, but that’s how I feel about this whole plastic surgery thing). I also have two daughters (both grown ups) and I think it’s very important to do what each of us can to promote aging with grace, humor, humility and gratefulness that we’re still hanging around. Nora Ephron doesn’t like her neck, you’re not crazy about your under eye area, I’d like to trim this belly pooch I said I’d never have……..our kids are healthy, (I don’t remember about Nora, but) you and I have supportive, terrific husbands, we’re intelligent, creative, funny women who recognize life is full of heartache, challenges, craziness and great joy. Concentrate on the joy and keep doing the great work you do.

Jen Cost commented on Mar 27 12 at 2:13 pmWow. Sorry to hear you are caving to peer pressure to look the same as everyone else. I guess I have to bid farewell to your daily shots now that you’ll be just like all the other plastics out there. You were beautiful. Peace.
Jen Cost commented on Mar 27 12 at 5:48 pmMy husband wanted to share this with you.
Okay, good luck with your decision!

MelissaAlex commented on Mar 28 12 at 9:32 amWell, when you wonder why little girls are going on the computer to ask people if they are ugly, don’t wonder why they’re doing that.
Mom’s are their daughters role models, so if you go under the knife because you don’t think you’re pretty enough, you are setting an example.
Stay Beautiful and True to yourself.
Liza commented on Apr 06 12 at 1:57 pmI’m a FAN of yours, Ali. Add me to the list of those with the dark bags. I have them whether I’m tired or not, and at age 53 they are getting difficult to cover.
I’m having some medically necessary eyelid muscle surgery soon, and it’s an opportune time to do the cosmetic upper/lower lid work to remove excess skin. I would love to have it done so fewer people ask me if I’m tired–which they do all the time! However, I will probably skip it.
Please don’t go for the full top-to-bottom change/augmentation! Going under general is scary, but some of the eye stuff is done under local. Bless you. I’ll watch you whatever you decide.
Sumrtym commented on Apr 13 12 at 5:41 pmAli, I just started watching you about 6 months ago and I noticed the puffiness and how tired you looked right away. You remind me of what I used to look like 10 years ago. I have a suggestion but would rather send a private message somehow. If interested you can email me.
Edith commented on Apr 15 12 at 10:30 pmAli I have wanted to say something about the bags since the flash mob on Oprah. I think you should have a good physical because I think it’s a sign of heart disease. Several “famous” people that have had something happen with their heart have bags under their eyes and after they recover they don’t. So I would love for you to see the dr. to make sure that it’s not more serious than just being tired.
Gigi commented on Apr 25 12 at 10:12 pmNO! You are super funny, smart, and beautiful. I worry that if you get that procedure, you will look like a WEIRDO and then you’ll be chasing one operation after another…don’t wreck your face! I think everyone on this site wishes they looked as great as you do.
Lori commented on Apr 29 12 at 7:14 pmAli .. Just say NO! When i stumbled on the Daily
Shot I fell in love with you and your humor . You seemed so down to
earth. I love that about you. What I find is when people go through
different procedures something changes and they are not who they use to be.
A quality gets lost. You are beautiful, funny and you display what real women
are. Love watching your show !
