Moomah: A Playspace for Parents, Too
Why is it such a rarity to find places that cater to parents as well as their children? Parents feel guilty over those unfortunate circumstances when you have to drag your happy and excited kid out of Chuck E. Cheese’s because you can’t stand the overstimulating atmosphere for one more second. Kids obviously hate being dragged to grown-up parties. But who says there can’t be kid activities that parents genuinely enjoy, too?
Moomah is one New York City gem that offers a creative space for parents to connect with their kids through art. And here’s the amazing thing: Neither the parents or the kids feel left out or bored waiting. It offers a unique, refreshing and educational way to spend quality time with your children. Better yet, Moomah has a cafe for your clan of hungry (if not starving) artists, and a gallery for displaying your creations. And Moomah’s tranquil nature-themed decor is calming and inviting for even the shy and nervous. Check out their creative classes, and feast on adventurous foods (along with picky-eater staples like grilled cheese and peanut butter and jelly). Their “funky forest” is unlike any activity we’ve ever seen. You just have to go to see what I mean.
